"Be safe & Make good choices"

 these days...

WHAT WAS I THINKING?

It has been a while since my last blog post...
But I am making it a point... to keep it alive... because I like YOUR point of view...
RIDE out the WAVE. I've decided... one day, I will do something:

"life" (and similar vagaries)

Clearly, unsolved philosophical problems exist in the lay sense (e.g. "What is the meaning of life?", "Where did we come from?", "What is reality?", etc.). However, philosophers generally accord serious philosophical problems specific names or questions, which indicate a particular method of attack or line of reasoning. As a result, broad and untenable topics become manageable. It would therefore be beyond the scope of this article to categorize "life" (and similar vagaries) as an unsolved philosophical problem. Similarly expansive "questions" shall also be omitted, as will fields (e.g. bioethicsfeminist ethics) which pose philosophical problems without being philosophical problems themselves.

'I win-you lose' situation

drawdown of U.S. forces

Operation New Dawn is set to begin on September 1st. On that day, after over seven years of the Iraq War, the American military will take a back seat and simply assist the Iraqi military and police forces.
In his trip to Ohio earlier in the day, President Obama said, “We’re keeping the promise that we’ve made when I began my campaign for the presidency,” and that by the send of August, “our combat mission will be over in Iraq.”

the realization is better than the interpretation

Add captio
Finally, artists are fond of evoking manifestly unreal worlds. They stage inexistent beings: gods, angels, monsters, centaurs. And when they derive their figures form the real world, they are so thoroughly transformed that every confusion with reality is impossible. -Stefan Beyst

something like "reaction watch-out",
n it might feel like daymares- but it looks grim.
uninteresting? convince me-

all dressed up and smelling of strangers.

in the name of Democracy, let us unite

And be one traveler, long I stood

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

illegal? really?

DEFINE       illegal - prohibited by law or by official or accepted rules;

"an illegal chess move"
I compared the american political process to the game of chess...

"At the end of the game, all the chess pieces all go back into the same box."

Later, down at the phone bank:
"Maybe you will be the one to make the difference"

SOFT T. EMPHATICS.

At some point you are going to have to make a decision: Send the Error Report or Don't send the error report.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
You know what I realized the other day… you cannot fax acid.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
You know what I had a guy say to me the other day?
“We sell corn on the cob…”…
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
growing up: my dad was like: “it’s not what you say, its how u say it...
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
mom if your listening and I know you are- I’ll call you back. I’ve been very busy these past few months. –
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
okay and think about it- come on people…
instead of yelling “ENCORE”

“Come back and play some songs you haven’t played yet!!!”

a sonnet for Sarah

We entered alone
we let our spirits overlap
                               venn diagram
It was an elevator ride
"We are all just here" i told her. Then she suggested deconstruction.
like matching taboos
Did we ever decide on a daily routine?
You had me at hello
Solely our souls saw that connection
to inspiration, discovery, to something subtle.
I got off on the 4th floor.
she didn't have a middle name.
just how I like it.
we left alone.
